Arthritis
Arthritis is a condition that causes inflammation in the joints, leading to pain, stiffness, and decreased mobility. It can affect any joint in the body, but is especially common in the knees, hips, hands, and spine. There are several types of arthritis, including osteoarthritis, which results from wear and tear of the cartilage, and rheumatoid arthritis, an autoimmune condition that attacks the joints. Common symptoms of arthritis include swelling, warmth surrounding the joint, reduced range of motion, and joint tenderness. The severity of these symptoms can vary, from mild discomfort to debilitating pain that limits daily activities. Treatment for arthritis focuses on reducing joint stress.

Functional Blood Work
At HealthConnection Integrative Medicine, we offer advanced functional blood work designed to uncover what’s really going on inside your body. Many patients experience fatigue, weight gain, mood changes, poor sleep, or brain fog even when their “standard” lab results from a primary care visit appear normal. That’s because most traditional panels rely on broad population averages, rather than evaluating what optimal health looks like for you.
